Bikes for Tykes
Each year, Contra Costa firefighters assemble hundreds of new bicycles and deliver them as Christmas presents to children in our service area. The program is co-sponsored by the Contra Costa County FIre Protection District and United Professional Firefighters of Contra Costa, Local 1230.

Marine Corps Toys for Tots
Barrels for this year’s “Toys for Tots” Campaign are at:.

The Toys for Tots Program accepts only new, unwrapped toys and toys in the original packaging. (Stuffed animals are allowed.) Donations are accepted at fire stations through Dec. 17, 2007.

Grannies Anonymous
The Grannies Anonymous organization collects toys in the East County area. Barrels are at these stations from November 26, 2008 through the end of December:
Fire Stations 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 87 & 88 (see street addresses)
Grannies Anonymous accepts new or used unwrapped toys appropriate for infant to 16 years of age.For donations other than at FIre Stations, call (925) 439-8958.
Holiday Fund/Food FIght
Donations of cash or food items help support the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Mini-barrels for cash donations are at many Contra Costa County office locations in NOvember and December..
