While candles, Christmas trees, and other decorations are part of the holiday spirit, they can pose fire and poisoning hazards, especially to curious children. Decorate safely!

Cooking is the leading cause of residential structure fires and injuries. Be especially careful when using hot oil cookers and fryers.  

Prevent fires and burns when using turkey fryers (CPSC).

Never leave burning candles unattended. Remember that a candle is an open flame. It can easily ignite any combustible nearby. Use candles safely (NFPA).
