The Contra Costa County Fire Prevention District’s Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Unit’s mission is to eliminate or reduce the incidence of Exterior Fire, and where possible, to reduce the severity of such fires where they cannot be eliminated.

The Community Risk Reduction Unit is staffed with Fire Inspectors and Public Educators whose primary task is to inspect parcels and educate people in regards to fire prevention and fire safety.
